Chilly temperatures kept sellers and buyers to a minimum on the morning of Saturday, March 2. But a few hardy souls bundled up and headed for the “Community Treasure Day” at the Northside Pavilion. Some sellers set up shop right outside their vehicles, where they could take shelter from the cold when possible. The city has scheduled the sales twice a year, but because of the cold weather this year, planners are considering holding the spring sale about a month later. The sales will continue to be held around Halloween in the fall, but will be held closer to Easter in the spring.
